Micro Miner
THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE: work reform has snowballed. Corporations are no longer allowed to have their employees work more than 3 minutes a week. Unfortunately, good jobs are hard to come by, and corporate greed remains ever-present. You've been hired as a FIFO miner, but if you want to keep your job, you must meet your boss' endlessly increasing demands.
Controls
-WASD to move. You must wait for all pieces to settle before moving again. You have 25 actions per shift.
-Moving up will drop a sand block below you
Move into blocks to mine them. Some blocks require multiple hits to mine. Mining ores and gems (among other things) gives you money. Spend money in the shop to add new blocks to your mine. Just make sure you meet the quota every Friday!
This game was the winner of Untitled Game Jam #107 (although it has changed significantly since then)

Real fun! Is it intentional that you can press SPACE to get a new level to generate? Or is this a debug cheat left in it?
Hey thanks for playing! Good catch, that must have been a leftover debug tool!
Haha, awesome
This game is a lot of fun! I managed to get a run going that was pretty much infinite, so I think it might be a good idea to make level requirements increase exponentially rather than linearly, so that these 'infinite' runs can have a natural endpoint.
Thanks for the comment! You're definitely not wrong, I made this game for a Jam and haven't gotten around to updating it yet, so it definitely needs a balance pass 🙂. Thanks for playing!
It's really good! It gets more and more compact, until you're thinking about every single button press.
Thank you!
